Visit of the pastor Aquiles Maza

Between February 4 and 9, we had the enormous privilege of having with us the pastor of our church in Mexico City, Aquiles Maza, accompanied by his wife Citlalli Melgarejo and Enrique Trueba. We had good times of fellowship with different brothers of the church and three meetings of inspiration, edification and challenge.

On Wednesday in a general meeting with the church he told us about the power of habits and how to change the wrong ones for the right ones under three principles:

1. Focus on changing the habits that produce the results we want to achieve, not just identifying them.
2. Don't give up too soon.
3. Strive to change the "who" instead of the "what."

On Friday the time was dedicated to the leaders and supporters. We reflect on the need to grow ourselves so that those who follow us can do so and thus help them achieve their purpose in God, having a father's heart, being a model that embodies what we say and a willingness to empower people.

His last intervention was on Sunday for the whole church. In it he challenged us to pray in a different way than usual if we want to be transformed, bear much fruit and glorify God. First sentence: Examine me… Second: Break me… Third: Send me… And fourth: Give me one… Thank you very much Achilles. You are a blessing to the church.
