We consider that it is essential to have a clear conception of the foundations of the doctrine of
Christ, since our convictions will determine our way of living.

We believe that the Bible is the true and current Word of God.

The only testament of God for his children, in which we can understand His will and discover His promises and legacies.
Jhon 5:39; Romans 15:4; 2nd Timothy 3:15-16; Hebrews 4:12; 2ª Peter 1:19-21; 1st Corinthians 10:8 y 11. The foundation of our beliefs is deposited in the Bible, which we understand as the inheritance that God has given to men, through which we can clearly understand God´s heart, his will and purposes. We understand that Scripture is useful and effective in teaching, correcting and instructing all men in justice, regardless of their status or social position. We understand that this is not a private interpretation, and anyone who approaches it with sincerity can understand the truths that emerge from it.

There is only one God, who is manifested as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jhon 1:1: Jhon 4:24: Jhon 14:8-9: Romans 9:5: 1st Jhon 5:7 y 20: Jude 24-25: Isaiah 9:6-7. We believe in the existence of a single sovereign God, Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Immutable and Truthful. Which has been manifested throughout the history of humanity as Father in the Old Testament, as Son in the Gospels and as the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts and to this day.

Jesus Christ is the eternal God come in the flesh to this earth.

Jhon 1:14; Jhon 14:8-9; 1a. Jhon 4:2; 1 Juan 5:20; Romans 9:5; Revelation 1:17-18. We understand that Jesus Christ, being God, stripped himself of all divinity, took the form of man and humbled himself to death on the cross; being in this way, the author of eternal redemption for those who believe.

Jesus Christ was born of a virgin woman named Mary, who begot him supernaturally by the Holy Spirit; We believe that Jesus lived without sin and without blemish.

Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-27; 2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26; Luke 23:14, 15, 22. We understand that in Christ all the prophecies spoken from ancient times by the ancient prophets were fulfilled, and that a pure and holy lamb was necessary for its purpose to be fulfilled: the just dying for the unjust.

Jesus died he descended into the depths suffering for us.

He bound Satan for those who believe in him, and unleashed him to deceive the nations, defeated death and resurrected bodily on the third day and sat on the throne of glory waiting for the church, cooperating with the Holy Spirit, to put his enemies below your feet; to come in bodily form unrelated to sin, to separate all who accepted him from those who rejected him. Jesus Christ when dying on the cross suffered only once for the sins of humanity, through this act he stripped all principality and power and triumphed over them, descended to the lowest parts of the earth, preached to the imprisoned spirits and resurrected bodily on the third day appearing alive with many undoubted evidence. This act of deep love has been done by the Lord over all creation. Establishing his kingdom and waiting for the Church guided by him to fulfill its function of making known to every person and nation, the mercy of his gospel.

We believe that the Kingdom of God has already come and has been established since the day Jesus Christ was resurrected. We believe that the Kingdom of God is expanding day by day until it finally prevails over all other kingdoms.

Daniel 2:35-44; Matthew 6:9-10; Isaiah 9:7; Colossians 1:13. We understand that God is, has been and will always be King, that he rules with authority and justice. We all have the opportunity to decide if we want him to reign over our lives, and as more people make this decision, the kingdom of God will spread until the whole earth is filled with His glory.

We believe that after this life there is an eternal place prepared for true believers and a place of judgment for those who rejected the truth and loved darkness.

Jhon 14:2; Mark 9:42-46; 2nd.Thessalonians 1:7-9. Any person who dies without having recognized Jesus Christ and who has not disposed his heart to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, will suffer the penalty of eternal perdition separated from the presence of God, not so those who disposed their hearts to believe with faith in Jesus Christ which will die eternally in his presence.

We have a personal enemy named Satan.

Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians 6:12;1a. Peter 5:6. This is known as the father of lies, deceiving all nations and preventing them from coming to the knowledge of God, his design is always evil and his purpose is to steal, kill and destroy.

All people have sinned, and the only way to be cleansed from sin is through faith in the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross for the sins of the whole world. No one can save himself unless he repents of his sins and confesses with his mouth that Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Savior.

Isaiah 64:6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:10-24; Romans 5:1; Romans 6:23; Isaiah 53:4-12; 1st. Thessalonians 5:23. n which we can understand his will and discover his promises and legacies. All people have performed acts against the will of God, this has made a barrier between God and men, and the only way to be freed from slavery to sin and to break down all barriers is through faith in the sacrifice that Christ made in payment for our crimes and sins. Because we all need a Savior, no one can be justified before God by good works. What Jesus did on the cross gives us total healing; in spirit, soul and body.

The believer must undergo the experience of baptism in water by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit / the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-5. The act of baptism must be preceded by: genuine repentance of our sins and surrender through faith in Jesus Christ. Through this act the believer identifies himself with the death and resurrection of Christ and decides to die in his old way of living, preparing to walk in a new life. The name of the Father is "Lord", the name of the Son is "Jesus", the name of the Holy Spirit is "Christ", that is, the anointing or the charism, so baptize in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, or baptizing in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is equivalent.

The indwelling Spirit enables the believer to live a holy life that manifests the fruit of the Holy Spirit and enables the believer to lay hands on the sick and heal, to speak in new tongues, and to cast out demons.

Ephesians 3:17; 1a. Corinthians 1:2; Matthew 7:19; Jhon 15:8; Galatians 5:22-23; Mark 16:17-18. We understand that confessing Christ as the only Lord and Savior will cause Him to come to dwell in the heart of each believer, giving him the quality of "set apart for the Lord" (real meaning of the word holy). Enabling you to develop the fruits of: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. As well as having access to the gifts of the one who gives us the ability to pray for the sick and that they be healed and cast out demons.

The believer needs to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues or unspeakable groans, enabling him to move in the gifts of the Spirit, which must be practiced in the Church today.

Jhon 14:16-17; Acts 1:5; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 8:17; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; Romans 8:26; 1a. Corinthians 12:4-11. Every believer must experience the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which means being clothed with the Holy Spirit, being endowed through this act of faith with the supernatural ability to move in the gifts of the Spirit: Word of wisdom, word of science, faith, gifts of healings, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, various kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues. Which enables the Church of today to develop more efficiently its work of propagating the gospel.

Today's Christian life should be characterized by being full of justice, peace, and joy. We believe that Christianity as a way of life is pleasant, and that God's will for his children is that they prosper in all things and be healthy. The lifestyle of a true Christian attracts sinners and causes them to repent.

Romans 14:17; Romans 12:2; 3a. Jhon 1-2; Mark 7:24-25. .
We believe that God´s will for his children is good, agreeable and perfect, God´s desire being that all his children enjoy a full and happy life, and the design of his will that they prosper in all things to the extent that your soul prospers and may you be healthy. We understand that the believer should not be contentious in diverse opinions, but kind and humble, preparing to make known the truths that the Scriptures expose with the desire to transmit hope to the lives of people. And in the likeness of Christ attracting sinners, not rejecting them or judging them.

We understand that an authentic Christian is one who is subject to the government and authority of Jesus Christ, whose will is expressed through the Scriptures, being the Lord who governs their conduct and lifestyle, submitting to all authority.

Romans 13:1-5; 1a. Corinthians 11:3; 1a. Jhon 1:3-8; Jhon 15:7.
The conduct of an authentic Christian is characterized by keeping a total subjection to the authority of Jesus Christ, revealed through his commandments in Scripture, this being the one that directs his behavior habits. We believe that a believer must submit to the civil governments of each country, this submission must be governed by obedience to the corresponding laws and regulations, paying contributions, taxes, respecting the established authorities, and honoring the national symbols characteristic of each nation.

As believers subject to Scripture we do not participate in the things that the Bible expressly forbids.

Leviticus 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10-12; Revelation 21:8; Galatians 5:19-21.
We understand that the Bible prohibits all believers from participating in worship and / or activities such as: consultation, invocation and / or worship of the dead. All kinds of divination, occultism, sorcery, witchcraft, parapsychology, horoscopes, mind control, transcendental meditation, yoga, or any other philosophy that is alien or contrary to scripture. Participate in all kinds of idol worship. Celebrations of religious holidays that are not registered and endorsed by the Bible.

We believe it is necessary for a believer to attend local church meetings faithfully and on time.

Hebrews 10:24-25.
We understand as a necessity for their own spiritual growth and development that each believer attends church meetings with the purpose of equipping himself to live for God and for those around him.

We believe that the Church was founded by our Lord Jesus Christ and that it should be understood as the group of believers and not as an administrative organization. The Church must be governed and built up through the model presented in the Scriptures where Christ is the highest authority.

Matthew 16:2; Acts 20:28; Ephesians 5:23; Romans 12:4-5; Colossians 1:28; 1a. Corinthians 1:2.
The church is built on the person of Jesus Christ, and is made up of all believers who call on the name of Jesus Christ in any place.

The only head of the Church is and will be Jesus Christ and in him we build on seven foundations: a) Repentance, b) Faith, c) Baptisms, d) Laying on of hands, e) Resurrection of the dead, f) Eternal judgment, g) Go to perfection

Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 4:14; Colossians 1:18; Colossians 2:10; Hebrews 6:1-2.
The local church must be well rooted and grounded in the rudiments of the doctrine of Christ and from there go on to perfect each believer.

For the local church to function properly, four basic fundamentals must operate in it:

Acts 2:42-47.

  • Doctrine of the Apostles
  • Communion with each other
  • Bread breaking
  • Prayers

These four elements affect the believer's communion with God and the believer's communion with the people who make up the local church. We understand as the purpose of the church:

  • Help others reconcile with God and experience a new life.
  • Help heal the wounds that dealing with the world has caused them.
  • Help them find purpose for their lives.
  • Help equip them for that purpose.
  • Send them to your community to be a blessing to those around you.

The five ministries operate in the church today in the same way that they existed in the early church.

Ephesians 4:11-15; Titus 1:5-9; 1st; Timothy 2:12; 1a. Corinthians 11:10.
The five ministries described in the scriptures: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, are intended to equip the saints to carry out the work of the ministry, as well as the perfecting of the believer.

We believe that there have not been, there is not and there will not be, women apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers according to Ephesians 4:11.

Ephesians 4:11.
At Center of life Christian we have a large number of women serving in leadership positions, however, according to Ephesians 4:11 there should be no women apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors or teachers.

We understand that God has placed leaders, elders and ministries to serve, care for, feed, discipline and guide his people, with the ultimate goal being the improvement of believers.

Ephesians 4:11-15; Titus 1:5-8; Colossians 1:28.
We understand that the purpose of the Church is to help each believer find a place of use for God and for the community. Encouraging him to place God in the first place in his life and as a consequence to dispose himself to be a person of utility and benefit to those around him. The ultimate goal being that we walk in the likeness of Christ.

It is our duty to evangelize the whole world.

Matthew 28:19-20; Ezekiel 3:17-18; Romans 10:8-15; 2a. Corinthians 5:18-21.
We understand that our responsibility as believers is to transmit the good news of the gospel of reconciliation to every race, culture and nation. Encouraging them to submit to the Lordship of Christ.
